The Christian President

This might be the most controversial blog I have written since it is election and a Christian pastor is running for president. I have nothing against Bro Eddie Villanueva and I have the highest respect for him – so the blog would be very objective.

The question is do we need Christians in public office? Not just a president – but also senators, congressmen, mayors, vice-mayors, governors and barangay captains.

THE ANSWER IS AN EMPHATIC YES!

Would it be necessary for Christians to be in public office for God to change the nation?

THE ANSWER IS AN EMPHATIC NO!

If we truly believe that God is sovereign then He can use whoever He wants to change a nation.

Look at history – America had 2 Bible-believing solid Christians who won the presidency. Jimmy Carter and George Bush. Carter is said to be one of the worst president and Bush made a lot of bad decisions.

It is like going to a doctor. Do I want Christians to become doctors? YES! But not just any Christian – I want a specialist. If somebody is going to treat me my first qualification is his/her credentials not his faith.

(Again – i am not saying that Bro Eddie has no credentials. Pastoring a church of millions speaks volumes about his leadership) Back to the blog…..

Throughout history also God has used pagan leaders. Churches have experienced growth and national trasnformation even if the ruler was not a Christian.

So what am I trying to say?

1. Let us pray that there would be more Bible believing Christians running for public office. Let us encourage the people in our church to make a difference in the political arena of this nation.

2. Let us not put too much pressure on the Christians to save this nation. Jesus will transform this nation with or without them. Jesus is our Savior. Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. If we put the burden on Bro Eddie V to change this nation – he might grow old too soon.

3. To the people who are not running for public office – let us be active in the political process. Register, vote, disciple the nation, bring the church into a dying world. Don’t put too much responsibility to the government. They can only do much.

4. Is Bro Eddie Villanueva destined to become the president of the Philippines? Well it is up to our votes to determine if he really is. If not this year – maybe in the future.

I fully agree on all things you’ve said Pastor Dennis and I don’t think Bro Eddie claimed that there was a revelation from God for him to be the next president by any means. It is still up to the people to choose. Sometimes Christians put the blame on Christian men – a pastor at that – running into politics and lost because it destroys the credibility of the message of Christ, somehow they insinuate that the power of Christ depreciates for a Christian losing in an election. We should count the the strands of hair in our head first before claiming that we have the ability to reduce the power of Christ. Let us just imitate the life of Christ by choosing to care for the least of our brethren and of this country. In the absence of God’s gift of CHOICE then we would have been a bunch of organic compounds floating in this universe. GOD DOES NOT SAY HELLO TO GARCI TO IMPOSE HIS WILL FOR THIS COUNTRY BUT HE SAYS HELLO TO US!

Like this blog,.. let us have the shift of mentality,… all of us should bear the responsibility over the situation of our nation, but why not try the man whom we know have a great fear upon the Lord to lead us…Let us put our hope that having him as the leader of this nation, with the help of every Filipino, and with the grace & mercy of our God, who else can be against us, we can have victory even in the midst of struggles, wars and difficulties. Having faith in God never promises an easy life, but a holding hope, strength & sustenance, that is a promise from Him, He’ll be with us with this journey… God bless our nation, God bless Philippines,… God bless us all.

For some reason, this made me chuckle. But I know you didn’t mean that in a funny way. Or did you? :)

But great point Pastor Dennis. I think that this doesn’t just apply to Bro Eddie but to whoever our government leaders will be. Let’s apply Hebrews 13:17 to our government officials as well.

Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.

  9. MR. P says:

As an American (living in Manila at the moment) I remember praying and fasting for a Christian man in the presidency at the National Mall in Washington DC with thousands of youth. This was just before Bush Jr.’s election in 2000.

Bush took the presidency in 2001 and we (those who prayed) were ecstatic. Our prayers were “answered” and we had hoped for great things in the land.

As you have written, Bush was not the great leader that we had hoped for and there wasn’t any significant spiritual transformation under his leadership.

That said, God reminded me of the story of the messiah.

The ancient Israelites were waiting for a political messiah to liberate them from Roman oppression. Even to this day, contemporary Jews are waiting to the moshiach (messiah) to bring peace to the world and the state of Eretz Israel.

The Israelites of Jesus’ time didn’t recognize His significance because they were anticipating a political leader to “solve all their problems.” Instead of a political leader, Israel was given the man, Yeshua, the son of a Nazarite carpenter.

He spoke nothing of freedom from the Romans. In fact he instructed them to “give to Caesar what is Caesar’s” and to “bless those who curse you and pray for those who persecute you.”

If we want spiritual revival in [any] land we need a spiritual leader and Jesus is the great high priest (Hebrews 4).

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

What is needed is for the church to humble itself, stop “playing church” and seek God’s face. People need to turn from their wicked ways — in other words, turn from their sin.

My mentor said it this way. “I don’t think [this place] will experience revival because people are so comfortable with their sin.”

Hopefully someday, we’ll take God at His word which is easily accessible in this land and obey.

It seems that those nations that are experiencing transformational spiritual community are those that are on their knees praying for change via corporate prayer.

Can’t wait until they do the same in this nation.

“You can tell how popular a church is by who comes on Sunday morning. You can tell how popular the pastor or evangelist is by who comes on Sunday night. But you can tell how popular Jesus is by who comes to the prayer meeting.” -Jim Cymbala.

God’s process of nation building was the selection and training of leaders to provide good government..you can find most of this people seating inside the church..yes i pray that more christian run in public office becouse they know the basic foundation of good governance..christians has the most qualification but i pray we christians must unite to change the nation, we are the key..if you don’t like bro.eddie it doesn’t matter, but please support God’s great agenda in our country. no government is better than the character of its leader..so why go for lesser evil if you can choose a righteous man?the one who seek God’s leading first when he open his eyes in the morning.. please christians let us unite..

  15. anna says:

the reason why God is not blessing this nation! There are still “christians” out there who are opposing the will of the Lord for this Nation. Have you heard of the prophecy of Cindy Jacob? Rev. Abu Baku and this Pastor from India, dont tell me that their prophecy are just a coincidence that Bro. Eddie will be the next president of this country if the body of christ will be united. The Lord has a great plan for this nation, to be a missionary sending nation, the launching pad of Gospel, the America of Asia and other other great things we can not imagine, only if the will of the Lord for this nation will be fulfilled, and all prophecy has a condition, the Lord will bless this nation if the body of christ will be united in putting up a righteous leader who will lead this nation, clearly, the body of christ is still dis united as there are still christians out there who are oppose the will of the Lord for this nation,if you are bible reading and believing christians you know that prophecy are messages from God,and prophecy will surely happen if the conditions set by God are met. May the Lord open your heart and see the truth… Godbless

  16. arman says:

so guys vote for bro eddie plsssss…

  17. YeKis says:

Somehow I felt Bro. Eddie’s burden here. Because there is no candidate credible enough to lead the country, he chose to run despite the fact that he will surely face much more mocking and criticisms, just for the love of God and country. Even if he’s taking the weight of a country drowned into greed, and some people needing real change.

Thanks for this post. It really helped me too.

  18. christian says:

Sorry but can’t find this article healthy for the mind of the voters. Can’t find it educating but rather, mind puzzling & confusing. A wise man votes in his conviction, if you think you are truly is a wise man, there is no reason to write such kind of mind boggling, puzzling & confusing article as this. A wise man shares his conviction, directly & upright. Remember, God is at work within us, and we must likewise do our part. Let us take this chance to do our part in choosing our leader. If we are truly of God, definitely we would want a God-fearing leader. Remember, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If God is with us who can be against us? is there anyone among the presidentiables qualified God’s quality of a good leader? I am convinced that none but bro. eddie. We all know that our country is in deep poverty not because our country is really poor…but because of greed leaders whom we have in the past and even in the present. It is not God’s plan for us – God definitely wants us to prosper & be successful! (Jer. 29:11) No one knows, when that can be, but as the chances is open – i want to act as if it could happen now and i’m praying for this. if God, find me righteous or even others who prayed for this – will He not give it to them? There is power in prayer. If we all want CHANGE. if we all want a good CHANGE then, let’s all together pray that this year be the beginning of God’s favor for the Philippines and let’s do our part for that change to take place. I am for bro. eddie because he has the quality of a good leader (not all leaders are good leaders). I am for bro. eddie because God convicts me to vote for him in my crave for a good change. Whose yours? Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope & confidence (Jer 17:7)Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.- Matt. 5:8. God bless us all! God bless the Philippines. All Glory, all honor, all praise, all thanksgiving, all power belongs to Jesus alone!

  19. matt says:

i hope other Christians will support bro.eddie. because some of them I think are rooting for gordon, noy or gibo…thats why I’m really disappointed.. Christians should unite. I really think bro.eddie is capable of being a president. it’s sad to know that other Christians are doubting that. I hope churches like victory would support and be vocal about it. mabuti pa mga muslims naniniwala kay bro.eddie, tayo na fellow Christians are doubting him pa..please please support bro.eddie,, now is the time to unite and start the change that we all been dreaming of. now is that chance.

    God bless

    Dont know why
but my heart i crying for this nation…
Our nation really needs a complete revival
i know and i believe that God has something
to do with our nation , a promise that might be delay. Pls voters choose the right leader for our nation…

  21. Dennis says:

Thanks for all the replies and I can’t reply to all who commented on the blog.

@ Mr. P – i love how you articulated your point. Thanks for the great insight

2ndly, I think we as Christians should understand the role of the church. The reason we don’t use our position to endorse because we believe that our role is to educate people how to choose leaders based on the standard of God’s word and not tell them who to vote for specifically.

3rd – it is for this very reason that the church is divided on this thing. Some of the zealous replies make people feel like they are sinning against God if ever they choose not to vote for a Christian official. If God has given us freewill – I hope you would also give other people the chance to exercise their right w/out feeling they are doing the wrong thing.

4th – Christians should always be active in the political process. I love the zeal but sometimes it is overboard. The government is not Jesus. The government won’t save us. Jesus will.

  22. gianne says:

My answer is a RESOUNDING YES! Bro. Eddie C. Villanueva should really run and aim for presidential position… I’ve known God since I was a little child and I knew that one of the things that can make God smile and His Utmost desire is to see His daughters and sons UNITED.

So what am I saying is that we His followers should act as one! We should open our blind eyes and unlocked our deaf ears, let us not allow this JUBILLEE season to pass us by or else it would be too late for us to act.

It is stated in your profile that you are a missiologist right? With that kind of gift, I do believe that you are also a vision catcher so my point is this. Try to think of all the non full gospel Christian churches and imagine it as a human body. Now for example God has given the Nervous system to Bro. Eddie and other systems were designated to the different churches, One day our God summoned that human body and wanted them to do a very significant task for this nation. Of course upon talking to that human body, the first receiver of that message will be the brain (Bro. Eddie) after receiving the word of God the initial response of the brain is to do the job and then send the impulses to the different parts of the body in order for that message to be carried out but even if the brain tries to do everything to gain success if the other parts of the body will resist from that order then there will be no mission accomplished. Same with our situation, aren’t we are all considered the precious BODY OF CHRIST? If God has casted His will to that person and if the others will continuously resist do you think God’s plan for this nation would succeed? Do you think we were able to glorify God if we failed to do His will?

Come on people; make up your mind this election is beyond Bro. Eddie and beyond the JIL people. We are talking about our country’s destiny and God’s Fulfillment of His plans.

Pastor Dennis Sy, I do not also held grudges from you but your point of view is very disheartening and it seemed to me that your statements are contradicting, take a look at this…

    1. Let us pray that there would be more Bible believing Christians running for public office. Let us encourage the people in our church to make a difference in the political arena of this nation.

First and foremost, why are you only looking things at its negative side? Aren’t you supposed to be grateful that two of God’s sons became America’s president? You are supposed to be the one who should uplift them.

Secondly, you are saying that God can use whoever He wants to use even if it’s a co-believer or not then why are you saying that we should encourage more bible believing Christians to run for public office to make a difference in the political arena of this nation? I thought you said that God can change this nation upside down without His people?! If It’s going to be useless then encouraging them will be a waste of time right!

Thirdly, what do you exactly mean by this?

    4. Is Bro Eddie Villanueva destined to become the president of the Philippines? Well it is up to our votes to determine if he really is. If not this year – maybe in the future.

Pastor, I am also well inclined in the bible, I meditate on it every day and not to mention I have a hundreds of memory verses in mind… I can’t even recall where God has said that His will be dependent on us? Do you know where to find it? Perhaps I just missed it. And do you even believe in PROPHECIES? Open your Youtube and watch Cindy Jacobs, Abu Baku, Sadu from India and Dexter Lao from Korea to find out for myself! Well going back, God’s will is not reliant on us; God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient so surely He knows what to do thousands of years before.

And lastly, you are saying above “MAYBE IN THE FUTURE?” so by any chance you must also believing that putting Bro. Eddie or any bible believing Christians into the position is the most momentous thing to do.

CHILDREN OF GOD LET US NOT BE CONFORMED TO THE NORMS OF THE SOCIETY OF THIS WORLD.
PRAY BEFORE VOTING! MAY GOD BLESS US ALL.

  23. annaliza nuval says:

Pray that the Lord open the hearts and eyes of the people that they may know His will and obey.

If i may asked pastor, would you rather vote for a non christian candidate because as you have said “christians dont need to run for office” and the Lord is a sovereign God and would bless a pagan leader if He wants to?

Remember pastor God gave us freewill but he also gave us wisdom, i just hope that you will use yours right
Thanks and Godbless you and your family!!

ME AND MY FAMILY, WE ARE FOR BROTHER EDDIE,A MAN A OF GOD, A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART.. THIS COUNTRY NEED A RIGHTEOUS LEADER! GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES… GOD BLESS THE FILIPINO PEOPLE!!!

  24. matt says:

I agree pastor, but my question is, yes we have free will, but are we going to choose for a lesser evil and abuse that free will? I understand that the role of the church is to teach,to educate. amen to that, but at least can the church teach its members on what qualifications are to look for a leader? I know and I strongly believe that Jesus will save this nation, yes, Jesus alone not any pres.candidate, not even Bro. Eddie. but, i hope and dream that someone who has the same faith like ours will lead this country. someone who has a relationship with God, someone who fears God and someone who loves God sincerely, that kind of leader sounds more of a better choice right? for me, I believe that one of the biggest problem of this nation is not about the lack of political will, it’s not about the lack of “magagaling” or “matatalino” in malacanang, actually, we do have a lot of brilliant minds in the government, we do have a lot of “masisipag” in the government, but why is the Philippines still being haunted by corruption, scandals, injustices? because we as Christians are being too passive, we became observers,we chose to shut our mouths even though we are fully aware of the immoralities in the government, we chose to ignore the evil things that we see in the society and instead only focused on discipleship.

Question: aren’t we supposed to be the salt of the earth? the light of this world? now that are brother in Christ is trying to do something and offering himself to enter the lion’s den, aren’t we going to support him? instead of ridiculing him, criticizing him, can we just pray for him??? look, I am not campaigning for Bro. Eddie,i am NOT even a member of JIL but as a Christian, as a Filipino, are we not happy and somewhat thankful that there is a pastor who dared to change this government? a fellow Christian who just wants to bring back morality in this Government? just a thought. God bless.

  25. dhex says:

A good leader is a good follower… I will vote a leader who acknowledge that he cannot perfectly lead a nation without the help of God… who knows not to depend on his own ability but totaly depend on God… who uses his authority in righteousness and cling to what is good – for the welfare of his people… who has an intimate relationship with God and knows how to love his neighbor… who knows his authority but above all, considers and recognize the authority which is greater and above him,who is GOD… I am voting for brother Eddie… but it doesn’t mean that he was perfect forthat position… but because he has a perfect God! I do not trust totaly in what he can do, but i put my whole trust in what his God can do through him!

“When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily; but with honest, sensible leaders there is stability.” Proverbs 28:2

    VCF lets give our
    FULL SUPPORT to Bro. Eddie!

  27. Dennis says:

thanks for all those who commented. This would be my last comment.

I have read and re read my blog and was looking for any contradictions with my point and really found none.

    FYI:

    1. I am for Christians to run for public office but not just any Christian. If I were to run for a political position I wont vote for me. But I dont see any contradiction. Never did I say for Bro Eddie not to run. FYI – 2004 I campaigned for him but never used the pulpit to endorse him. I beleive in his platform and his principles. He is a good man.

    2. I am not saying that Bro Eddie is not capable or is not qualified. He is highly qualified. With a church that has 2 million or 3 million members speaks a lot about his leadership. So cool lang sa mga sumasagot dito. Masyadong mainit.

    3. I am not against Bro Eddie. Who am I to go against what Bro Eddie’s heart and conviction is. He has every right and he can become a good president for this country. So once again cool lang kayo and don’t read what is not written in the blog.

    4. To my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ – as much as I want to be democratic in approving comments in my site ( since that is what a lot of you are fighting for) – some of it are way below the belt. I hope the same passion you have to see this nation changed would be channeled in how we govern ourselves with our words. Really sad.

    5. I’ll blog on the biblical qualifications of a leader and you choose from there. Watch out for it this week.

PS: Di ako galit. Nagpapaliwanag lang atsaka cool lang tayo. Babangon din ang Pilipinas

  28. Dennis says:

@gianne: sorry if I got you confused with my blog entry. Let me try to explain.

“If God has casted His will to that person and if the others will continuously resist do you think God’s plan for this nation would succeed? Do you think we were able to glorify God if we failed to do His will?”

I think Bro Eddie running is him fulfilling the will of God. Bro Eddie has glorified God by running because he did say that God was calling him to run. Who are we to question?

I blogged : “If we truly believe that God is sovereign then He can use whoever He wants to change a nation.
Look at history – America had 2 Bible-believing solid Christians who won the presidency. Jimmy Carter and George Bush. Carter is said to be one of the worst president and Bush made a lot of bad decisions.
    1. Let us pray that there would be more Bible believing Christians running for public office. Let us encourage the people in our church to make a difference in the political arena of this nation.”

No contradiction here. I think people are reading what I am not writing. Let us change the names of Bush and Carter or Bro Eddie and say Gianne is a Christian and running for public office. If I know that you have the qualities to become a good public servant I would encourage you to run. Bro Eddie has those qualities so millions are rooting for him but for people to say we have to vote for Gianne because he is a Christian would do more harm than good.

you are saying that God can use whoever He wants to use even if it’s a co-believer or not then why are you saying that we should encourage more bible believing Christians to run for public office to make a difference in the political arena of this nation? I thought you said that God can change this nation upside down without His people?! If It’s going to be useless then encouraging them will be a waste of time right!

Please listen to my preaching on civil government to understand the full picture of what I am saying. If a Christian who has the qualities to run for leadership – let us encourage them. If they don’t have – then let us not vote for them. Once again I am saying Bro Eddie has the qualities – never mentioned that he is not capable.

Thirdly, what do you exactly mean by this?
    4. Is Bro Eddie Villanueva destined to become the president of the Philippines? Well it is up to our votes to determine if he really is. If not this year – maybe in the future.

God has sovereignly allowed our country to become democratic w/c means the way we choose our leaders is through national elections, right? That is his will. We live in a democratic country and people have the right to vote for whoever they want. Was it God’s will to put Marcos, Cory, Ramos, Erap, and GMA to power. YES. If Bro Eddie wins this coming elections it would be God’s will and if he loses it is also God’s will. His will is not dependent on us but dependent upon the institutions HE has established. Our nation is established under His rulership and sovereignty. He allowed for us to have national elections. It was God who put that into place. Kung sino man ang mandaya sa election ang kalaban nya Diyos. Let us pray that God woudl expose the deeds of darkness so that rigtheous government would have its place in our nation

Hope I was able to answer your questions. Thanks for commenting. Appreciate the questions.

Hope you won’t mind my asking, who will you vote as a President of this nation on May 10, 2010?

Where is your faith? Why wait for the future if the time is NOW. Can’t anybody see? We have voted for every politician we knew,we have tried them over and over again… But still where is the Philippines now?

Panay pray tayo for righteous leaders ayaw naman natin suportahan. All christians lay down ur weapons against each other. May the Lord open ur spiritual ears and eyes. God bless

  40. cathy says:

  41. cathy says:

    Change starts from us!

I agree bro. It should start from us. By simply following rules and regulations. I do know some Christians who do not follow traffic rules & regulations even purchase a MD emblem due to reason of “iwas sa huli, iwas sa coding, iwas sa etc.”? And they are very proud about it even share stories about their experience. Sad but true. Funny but they aren’t Doctors… It doesn’t matter who will be the next leader what we all need is to support him. We all have a responsibility… I ain’t perfect & responsible but I’m trying to be one. So we all should be. Also I do hope all of you to vote wisely b/c I can’t vote :( “illegal alien” a good example of our law. I was born here but I’m not automatically Filipino need to have a huge amount to change citizenship isn’t that un-cool? Anyway God bless you all…

  43. Jose says:

Ang daming weird dito.. hahahaha… I will vote for LEASERDHIP, RESULTS, INTEGRITY..

HUwag ilagay sa box si Lord.. Its our job sa christians to be salt and light to this nation..

Do we give our tithes? Do we pay our taxes? Do we come to work on time? are we excellent in our workplace? are we reaching out to our community? are we living out our God given standards and convictions? Do you buy priated dvd’s and cd’s?

You see these questions and so many more are even more important than campaigning for a christian president… ZEAL without WISDOM. hay…

    You rock P. Dennis! Lesgow!

  44. Misha says:

Your blog doesn’t change the fact that on May 10,2010 God is giving us the chance to choose our president. So what is your conviction? If you love our nation, you should find time to write about the president you choose, show people why you chose him and the change you believe he will bring to our country. There’s no point in telling people not to put their trust on Bro. Eddie but to God, ’cause Christians know that as much as we know that God listens to prayers and He has heard our cry for a righteous governance but still, God leaves us (not only Christians but All Filipinos) the choice. So who do you say we choose?

  45. Misha says:

@Jose – You mock your brothers and call them weird because they are campaigning for a Christian president and judging their passion for our nation as Zeal without Wisdom? I pray that God would open your eyes and show you your heart.

  46. Ungas na Kristyano says:

    P. Dennis galing ng sinulat mo dito. Di ko lang maintindihan bakit hindi naintindihan nung ibang mambabasa yun sinulat mo? Clear naman po na hindi po against si pastor kay Bro. Eddie…

  47. Misha says:

@ Ungas – I don’t understand what made us weird, dahil ba pinag-uusapan natin ang isang Christian leader o dahil hindi n’yo maintindihan ang pinaglalaban ng mga tao dito? I guess it’s safe to say that you yourself is not for Bro. Eddie pero kung yung presidential bet mo ang pinag-uusapan dito and you believe so much in his integrity, I’m sure you’ll feel the same way… If it’s true that you love Jesus and our country, then you should love and be united with your fellow Christians in our prayer for genuine change.

  48. mj says:

    I am for bro Eddie.
    but now I’m having doubts
because of the overzealousness of some of our brothers and sisters here
Putting all hope and hype on Bro. Eddie over Jesus makes me have 2nd thoughts
Other presidentiables are highly qualified as Bro. Eddie
but I believe only Bro. Eddie has the real heart for the nation
But then, if my choice is being dictated by reasons that I have to support a brother in Christ; that I have to unite with the body of Christ; that I have to do something to fulfill the prophecies….then I would have to rethink my choice. Not because I am against Bro. Eddie, but because it turns me off that some people are giving the wrong reasons to vote for him. It’s like us making him the 2nd Messiah and you are making Satan succeed in dividing us up.
The posts here makes one feel like one is being bullied or harrassed, as well as making other’s feel shameful if they are not for Bro. Eddie.
It’s a shame that there is no show of respect for other people’s choices, feelings or sentiments here. Free will is nowhere found in the Bible, but it is implied from the Old to the New Testament. Use your wisdom. It’s there and it’s clear since the time of Adam. God doesn’t force me to choose, neither do other people have the right to do so in a discriminatory way.
What Pastor Dennis wrote here is soooo clear, and his motivation to write this is pure. But the spirit of over zealousness has put a veil over your eyes. Just a little respect please.
How can you attain the unity of Christ’s body if the attitudes of your heart are questionable? You are finding fault where there is no fault.
Pastor Dennis, I am so sorry on behalf of the people who are attacking your blog and your belief. I am so sorry for the people who are attacking you almost to the personal level. Even if you are a strong spriitual person, I know it hurts you too since you are also human.
The reactions here reminded me that I should not rest all my hope and faith on man alone. Therefore, I should rethink and reassess why I am really voting for Brother Eddie.
Nakakahiya if some non-Christians are reading this!!!! We will be the laughing stock of this nation, and Brother Eddie will also bear the brunt of this if ever this blog sneaks into mainstream media.

  49. Dennis says:

    @mj thank you very much

  50. Misha says:

    P. Dennis, I’m sorry if I offended you and my brothers, I really am too zealous for a genuine change. I know you understand me and I need not say more. Thank you! God bless…

@mj – thanks for showing me my faults. God bless!
