Goodbye and thank you Pastor Luis Pantoja

Received a text from a church member that long time senior pastor of Greenhills Christian Fellowship Luis Pantoja passed away yesterday due to an accident.

I have never met him personally but his ministry has had great impact in the city of San Juan where I am pastoring. Pastor Pantoja thank you for planting the seeds in Greenhills. Your labor is not in vain.

Thank you very much Pastor Luis Pantoja.

  1. Tribute to Pastor Luis Pantoja

I had a couple of times having intimate dinner meeting with Pastor Pantoja together with my family. Each time we converse was as if we have known each other forever. He is great man of God whom you can confide anything and everything and in return get a quality response and a wise council.

Pastor Pantoja pursued the vision of GCF purposefully and intentionally making GCF a dynamic growing church in numbers and in effective biblical disciples. I am so blessed with his life and ministry. Praise the Lord of Host for his life and dedication.

Our hearts went out upon hearing the death of Pastor Luis Pantoja Jr. As how our seven year old son says, God said, it is time to go home. Indeed, Pastor Luis has finished the race, he has fought a good faith. He has left a great legacy. Thank you for teaching us how to live a wonderful life for God.

I am a member of gcf since 1993. I was there before Pastor Luis Pantoja became Senior Pastor of GCF. All thru the years, I have seen the progress of the church thru his leadership. I have great sorrow in learning of his demise. May God embrace him with his love now that he is in his presence. I will never forget him. Condolence to his family.

Dr Pantoja, you are already missed by thousands… thank you for once praying over me for the delivery of Gifts from the Holy Spirit. You were indeed a blessing from God in my life, as well as that of my daughter Victoria, the Gideons International and to other innumerable followers of Jesus. It is so encouraging to attempt to imagine the beauty and splendor of where you are at this very moment… Rest in Peace Pastor. See you when we get there… Praise Jesus!

I have been a member of GCF since 2007 and I have witnessed how Pastor Luis faithfully and boldly taught the Word of GOD. He is an outstanding preacher who never failed to give impact on our lives. He is a great man of GOD.

His sudden death brought great sorrows upon me but the thought of him being with his Master and Creator has somehow comforted me.

I will never forget you Pastor Luis and your big smile. See you again in heaven, our real home.

I thank God for your life Pastor Luis. You and Ate Li have been a blessing to me in my daily Christian walk. You are indeed a servant of God who faithfully served Him until He called you home. Me and the Call Center people whom you have encouraged and influenced by your Biblical teachings will surely miss you. But I know that we will meet again in heaven.

    Adios, Pastor Luis!

  13. Nene Amen says:

Pastor Luis is a pastor with a big heart. I first met him when he prayed for Rey (still in a wheelcare) in GCG Ortigas right after his brain surgery. He saw how God gave complete healing to Rey and would even pray for our daughter Kristine who happens to also worship in GCF Ortigas. We will surely miss him physically but we are glad that he is now in heaven with Jesus! God bless Ate Li!
