- Pastor Jayson gave a powerful word to encourage the people to pray and hold on to God.

- preached on the OMNIPOTENT GOD. I called on stage Alvin and Dominique Yap who recently won 2nd place in the Asian Competition for Weight Lifting Bench Press tournament. The father and son have been long time members and some of the most humble people I know.

One of the best Wednesdays of the year!

- started the day meeting with two of our most loyal business people in church and talked about discipleship and leadership. I love spending time with people who’ve been there and who are willing to train and impart to the next generation.

- Picked up my mother in law at the airport and celebrated her birthday. Blessed to have a mother in law who loves me and my family.

- Went back to church to polish the preaching and prepared for a talk I was going to give to our church leaders about CHRIST-CENTERED DISCIPLESHIP.

- Wednesday service was full again. Acel – the pregnant worship leader – is one of the most anointed worship leaders I’ve seen. God was in the worship.

- Yeng Constantino – a famous singer in the Philippines shared her story that brought tears to a lot of people including mine. She shared how this GOD cold love her inspite of her shortcomings and sin. Only the God of the Bible can do such a thing.

- preached on the Omniscient God – the God who knows everything and saw almost 20 people received Christ for the first time.

- Met with the Victory Group Leaders of the church – shared the plans of the church and the culture we wanted to create as a church in the city.

- I love this church! I love Jesus! I love my Mother -in Law!

I officiated the wedding of my good friend, Carlo Ople and Mich Ople. After 9 years, they finally tied the knot. I am so privileged to be part of their love story.

With fellow pastors – Chinkee and Larry waiting for the wedding to start. It was truly amazing how Carlo and Mich decided to push thru with an outdoor wedding believing that it would not rain even if it did early morning.

It was Alyanna’s first time to be a flowergirl and was really proud of her. She marched with confidence just like how we practiced it except for the part she forgot to throw the petals. Thammie was super duper beautiful. I wanted to marry her again and again.

The Greenery was such a nice place also. We stayed there Friday night. Happy to see the place well maintained, staff was extra friendly and the food was excellent.

The wedding was so glorious. You knew that God was there. Will be posting my sermon as a blog this week.

To Carlo and Mich – congratulations once again. Love you guys

- sick. A lot of people are sick. The whole saturday I was down with allergy. My nose was as red as rudolph.

- woke up this morning and allergy was gone but when I got to Greenhills had migraine. Bought some of John Lloyd’s biogesic before I preached.

- I love seeing the worship team composed of high school and college students. I love young people

- preached on mountain climbing faith. Felt it was timely for the people listening.

- i love the tension of the word today. What do you do when you speak to the mountains and it won’t move? Climb it.

- watch out for the preaching podcast hopefully out this week at our website.

- finished the day with Pastor Larry and his family with some good old chinese food. My comfort food.

- tomorrow I start my fasting. Would be focusing on praying for the leaders in church, my walk with God and just to enjoy my time with the Father.

When you tell your kids they are grounded and that they can only stay in their room then you are doing them a favor – because they get to do stuff in the net that you might not know of.

- after 3 days of conference and night time moving I am positively tired but worship yesterday at church was awesome.

- I was so afraid nobody would show up for our 3pm service because it really rained hard. Next time I’ll be more specific with my prayer requests – “Lord let it rain but not on a Sunday”.

- our 5pm was packed and we had lots of visitors (foreign and provincial delegates). Pastor Scott Dauma preached a powerful message on Elijah and his bouts with depression and his victory because he hold on to the truth of God’s word.

- Pastor Scott is one of my favorite preachers in the world. He weaves you in the story and he lets the people walk with Elijah. Thanks Pastor Scott.

- our Myanmar delegates sang. A rockstar in Myanmar led the song number and she was amazing. Pastor Mang and Pastor Chinkee showed the crowd some Myanmar-Chinese dance moves.

- Dinner with Pastor Scott and family, Dane and Liz Tokushige and Pastor James and Sean of our church in Japan. Talked about family, marriage, ministry and parenting teens.

- ended the night at a party for our foreign delegates hosted by Ms. Edna Camcam. Maa’m thank you for your generosity and love for the church.

Time flies when you are having fun. I can’t believe it is over. Our 2010 wordl conference went beyond the hype and really imparted a new love for the church, Jesus and the world. I don’t know if there is not a person left untouched by God’s Spirit which was not just moving supernaturally in the event but throughout the world.

I really admire the heroes of our faith. The people who are part of the persecuted church. One lesson I learned is that you can’t stop God and His church through persecution. People who have gone through persecution comes out stronger. Persecution always backfires. If there is a way to stop Christians from making disciples – the route is not persecution but comfort and entertainment.When pastors perform instead of preach, when all people hear is wht their ears want to hear then we cease becoming the church God wants us to be.

Dr Jun Vencer preached on the church’s role in making disciples and it gave me all the more reason to love what I am doing and train other people in church planting and missions.

Pastor Steve’s preaching on HONORING GOD hit home. It was simple but as always powerful. I love how Pastor Steve has not only preached HONORING GOD but really live it out in his marriage, family and leadership.

Did I say I love my church. I love the church. I love my spiritual family. I love my wife and my kids. Life has never been better.

- I am loving this conference. This has been one life changing event.

- attended the morning session on branding for pastors led by Mark Zsech of Hillsongs church. He spoke on the importance of mission, merging the mission and movements that would create momentum. He also taught us about tribal leadership. Learned a lot

-Something I noticed about our speakers which I think applies to leadership: You dont need to be flashy to make a difference. I think the world we live in loves the hype, the hip, the cool. If you dont fit the stereotype, if you are not celebrity material- we aint hearing from you.

- The last 2 days has proven that this thinking stinks. Pastor Grace, Pastor Rice, Efren Penaflorida, Pastor Yesupadama, Jackie and Darlene Zsech are simply amazing, humble and ordinary people used by God.

- Efren, Jackie and Pastor Yesudama all came from poverty. It did not stop them from making a difference. My heart for evangelism, discipleship and changing the world has been ignited in this conference.

Some take home lessons:

Efren’s talk : God can use anyone as long as he pursues the dream and the will God has for Him.

Pastor Yesudama: Share the gospel, share Jesus, get compassion.

Pastor Jackie: my classmate in the school of world missions. I think Jackie’s preaching was the highlight. I love how he shared his testimony of finding Jesus and missionaries pateintly sharing the gospel to him.

Darlene’s talk: I am a worshipper. I am to worship Jesus. I dont need to be a professional to worship and God forbid we become professional worshippers – just be a worshipper.

- we were created not to receive glory but to give glory to God

- speak God’s language. Care.

We ended the night setting a new world record of singing a song “Amazing Grace” in 60 different languages all at the same time

I love this church, I love my wife, I love Jesus

EN2010 is simply amazing. I can’t help but say I love this church. I am privileged to be part of this church. I love our spiritual family – its values, culture and its leadership.

The parade of nations was awesome. 47 nations represented. God is moving in EVERY NATION IN OUR GENERATION.

Pastor Grace preached ala TD JAKES style. I love the passion and I love the lesson. No more crumbs for me. I am eating at the banquet table of the Lord.

- if crumbs could drive out demons how much more if we get into the food served at the banquet hall of the Lord.

I also love when she said, “You can’t be anointed and offended at the same time.” Very true.

Pastor Rice also delivered a message that is the driving force of our church.
