Apostle Paul and Beyonce’s theology of marriage

My wife- as most of you know is one of the most beautiful woman in the world (and I’m not even exaggerating yet)

I remember the first time I saw her – all I could say was WOOOO!!!! Man!

When I started conversations with her – it made her more attractive. She was not only beautiful but she had the brains to go with it.

I would admit that when I was courting her – I was tempted to get physical. To for a moment let my pastoral calling down and put my oath of purity and virginity to test – why? SHE WAS HOT!!

I went to the Scripture and here was Apostle Paul’s advice:

1Cor. 7:9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Did I put that verse into my heart.

I have remained a virgin since birth. I haven’t touched a girl and have no plans of committing pre-marital sex and there was no way I would break God’s heart in exchange for some 10 minutes sex with my fiancee.

Now you might say I have old fashion rules and traditions. Not true. Let me introduce you to a song by Sister Beyonce when she sung a beautiful hymn ” All the Single Ladies” that sums up what Paul was trying to say in Scripture

Cuz if you liked it then you should have put a ring on it
If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it
Don’t be mad once you see that he want it
If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it

PUT A RING ON IT!

Single men – stop the sex. Put a ring on it! Show yourself a MAN!!!

and all the Single Ladies say “AMEN”

All the single ladies
Now put your hands up
woo oh ooh oh oh ooh oh oh ooh
