4 things I consider before stepping into any kind of relationship
1. CHRIST. – is this person Christ centered? He could be religious but his heart is far away from God.
2. CHARACTER – does he exhibit godly character. Do you guys have the same conviction? Does he believe in saving sex for marriage, is he a man really worth following?
3. COMPETENCE – can the guy feed you? does he have enough money to give you at least a decent wedding? can he lead the family? is he emotionally and spiritually mature?
4. CHEMISTRY – in love ka ba sa kanya?

is that arrange in the order of importance? hehehe… where is it in your list that tackles the looks??? hihihi

But #4 is very tricky, how do you define real love? human as we are, we all have different levels when we say we’re in-love..I think we should define love on how God loves us.

If #’s1-3 are evident in the person, #4, if in love ka, ask God about it!
People ask, how will you know #4? I believe it goes back to our relationship with God. We know love because we have experienced God’s love. For me, it’s important too to listen to God during the time of courtship because He will faithfully assure/confirm if the feelings came from Him.

hello ptr! i read this and referred it to my friends (who were waiting) and i came back to check the last C. (hihi)
however, while re-reading, i thought this is also applicable in choosing candidates for the upcoming election. ang labo po ba? well some tweaking perhaps. but Christ, Character, Competence are sure fire. Chemistry, yan po siguro, i’ll say Conscience. if our vote will give us peace that passes all understanding, then so be it. ^_^v
